I had the chance of watching the movie "Freedom Writters" and what caught my attention the most was that throughout the film the teacher gave each one a vote of confidence, both she and they learned something that works to improve.
This movie is a clear example of fewer opportunities and not only that, also it talks about the life of a group of students who have social problems of violence, intolerance and other problems that we can see throughtout the movie.
The context and the situation give us a reflection and hope about life and how we can change it if we ask for help.
The fact of listening someone can change everything.

In the present, the majority of adolescents and children have suffered depression, anxiety and a wide variety of emotional changes due to the pandemic for which they have needed a mentor to guide them on that journey.
Thanks to this situation, the education of hundreds of millions of children and adolescents has been interrupted.
After a long time of being confined, the students have finally returned to class and have been able to talk with the teachers about this, many have needed separate help but I am glad to know that everything is gradually returning to normal.When Miss Gruwell read the diaries she knows about the complicated situation that these boys went through, she knew how to act by approaching the boys, gaining their trust to the point of being able to organize something nice with them, to able to show them that not everything is bad and that there exist other ways of living life.
Therefore I think that good teachers can make a difference, it can be difficult yes, but it is not impossible if people can open up and talk, why not try?
